Dave McKendry

Dave McKendry is a hugely talented, honest and humble musician from Belfast. When he wrote the song Islander, he wrote of a home on the coast, of a life as an islander, of a journey continually travelled.

When he asked me would I create the music video, I of course said yes. His idea was a single reversed shot, that both began and finished in the sea. Shot on the FS5 with a gimbal, the shot was a challenge, but the result was worth getting wet for.
